Terms of use and refunds

Updated .

In short. The audit is free. Pro plans are sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Every paid plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. AI drafts can be wrong, so review them before you publish. BotsRead finds technical barriers; it does not guarantee rankings, citations or traffic.

1. Who we are

BotsRead is provided by MB „Di Automatizacijos“, company code 308095715, Vilniaus g. 8, LT-21118 Trakai, Lithuania, lukas.bagdevicius@gmail.com (“we”, “us”). By installing the extension or buying a plan you accept these terms.

2. What BotsRead is

BotsRead is a Chrome extension that audits the page you have open for Google search and AI search: it shows two scores, an AI crawler table, what crawlers see without JavaScript, and fixes you can copy. The Free plan includes unlimited audits, all checks, the generators and the Markdown report, plus 3 AI fixes to try. Pro adds AI fixes, drafts written by Anthropic’s Claude model, up to 300 a month. Current plans and prices are on the pricing section.

4. Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy, email lukas.bagdevicius@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase (or of a renewal payment) from the address you used to buy, and we will refund that payment in full. No reason needed, and it doesn’t matter how much you used Pro. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Polar, usually within a few days; your licence is then switched off. Polar may also issue refunds on its own under its policies.

5. EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU). For digital content and services this right can normally end once you start using them, but we don’t ask you to give it up: the guarantee above means you can withdraw and get a full refund within 14 days of buying, even if you have already used Pro.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email, for example:

I hereby withdraw from my contract for BotsRead Pro (plan: …), ordered on … . Name: … . Email used for the purchase: … . Date: … .

6. AI-generated drafts

7. No ranking or citation guarantees

BotsRead finds technical barriers and shows what search engines and AI crawlers can read. Search engines and AI companies decide on their own what they rank and cite, and they change their systems often. We therefore do not promise any ranking, citation, traffic or revenue result. The scores are our own measure, based on public documentation and published research, and are meant as guidance.

8. Your licence and fair use

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep BotsRead running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free; the free audit runs in your browser and doesn’t depend on our server. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important from a paid plan, you can ask for a refund of the unused part of your period. We will announce changes to these terms on this page and, for paying customers, by email at least 30 days before they apply.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country, including the legal guarantee that digital content and services must conform to the contract. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the extension is provided as it is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or rankings. These limits don’t apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please email us first; we try to solve every problem quickly. Consumers can also turn to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, vvtat.lrv.lt) for out-of-court dispute resolution, or to the courts.

How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
